The Importance of Passion

P Persistence

If you give up in the beginning stages, you will never know whether it could have really worked.  Allow it to fail, maybe even more than once, but NEVER give up! Shake off the “No” responses and keep preparing for the “Yes”.

A Activity

If you aren’t working your plan, your plan won’t work for you.  You may have to do things over and over again until you see results.  A body builder didn’t develop muscle because he/she went into the gym one time; their results required consistency. And even after they had consistency in the gym, there were other components, such as proper nutrition, that had to be implemented.  Get up and move!

S Steadiness

Knowing what you are called to do helps establish your thought process and brings a sense of peace.  When you keep jumping on the bandwagon because of the next best thing, it distracts you from your purpose.  Those distractions are simply deterrents. Don’t allow yourself to be deterred; stay on track.  Write down [and remember] what the vision is for your life and stop doing everything that equates to a bunch of nothing.

S Servitude

Passion becomes irrelevant if you aren’t serving those that need your decision to BE so that they can make their decision to BE.  “You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure about you. We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us.” – Marianne Williamson I think that sums it up pretty well; let’s ponder that for a bit.

I Ignite

Awaken the things in you that have been lying dormant.  What did you put down and completely forget about?  What is that thing that stirs you up…that thing that lights up your eyes? What is that thing you would do even if you didn’t make money from it?  Capture and pursue; someone somewhere needs what you have to offer.  You were created to do “it”.

O Ownership

Whether it was your fault or not, it’s YOUR dream and YOUR business.  Placing the blame on everyone else shows a lack of leadership and immaturity.  When you rent a home, it’s someone else’s responsibility to take care of damages, but when you own it, it becomes your responsibility.  Always remember, “When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required.” (Luke 12:48 NLT)

N Non-negotiable

Giving up is never an option.  It shouldn’t even be a thought. When we entertain our distractions for too long, they start to make themselves at home.  Today, make a decision that living your dream is non-negotiable. Position yourself, understanding that your breakthrough can happen at any moment…don’t be caught off guard; always be ready!
